Eliza Harman Barrus

I appreciate our dear friend David Condie for contributing the majority of this blog today.

Eliza lived a life filled with extreme tragedy and extreme triumph just like her brothers Jake Harmon of the Harmon's Grocery Stores & Pete Harman of The Kentucky Fried Chicken Chain.

She was always an extremely hardworking woman. Reading about her life will inspire you to do what ever it takes to deal with life.

Eliza's Beauty Salon was a favorite place in our community. Many woman had their hair done by Eliza weekly. She was loved.

Eliza's little brothers enjoyed working hard and built their own businesses with hard work, just like Eliza.  Pete (several hundred Kentucky Fried Chicken locations ) and Jake (Harmon's Grocery Stores)
